Component focus bug

In Flash MX I am having a problem with using UI components and focus. I found a short discussion on this on Flashcoders:
Bug with Components — IE will not lose focus
This bug was difficult to recreate … this posted shows a way that I can recreate the problem every time: select item from combo box, click elsewhere (start menu for example) and then bing up input box. The combo box does not lose focus like it should.
